We are delighted to welcome Ms Andrea Ditscheid to the SRG | SERVE team.

As Manager Finance & IT, Mrs Ditscheid will take over the commercial management of the SRG | SERVE Group.

She will also support us in the introduction and further development of key software applications.

We are pleased to welcome Mr Matthias Arnoldy and Mr Kevin Hertel to the SERVE Engineering S.A. team.

Mr Arnoldy supports our electrical wiring, while Mr Hertel takes on tasks in logistics and the warehouse.

At the SRG | SERVE Group, we are aware of our responsibility for our planet. That’s why we are investing in environmentally friendly mobility and renewing our fleet with fully electric vehicles. This month we have already received our sixth fully electric vehicle, which helps us to reduce our ecological footprint. Fully electric vehicles are not only emission-free, but also quiet and efficient.

That’s why we also support other measures to protect and preserve the environment, such as air pollution control, wastewater and waste management, and the protection and remediation of soil and water. As already reported, we are continually training our employees. Here are a few impressions of our practical driver training for the forklift license.

With their experience, they support us in electrical wiring and thus contribute to the realisation of our continued growth.

Some of our employees have participated in a training course that qualifies them to operate forklifts. The theoretical part of the training was successfully completed at the end of November. We would like to thank our colleague Thomas Bros, who obtained the instructor certificate for this activity in the summer and led the training.
The practical part will follow in early December.

The health and safety of our employees is very important to us. We know that there are risks in our field of work that can lead to injury or illness. We therefore want to ensure that our employees not only know the necessary protective measures, but also know how to act correctly in an emergency.

For this reason, we organised a first aid course in November, which was conducted by qualified instructors from the Luxembourg Red Cross. The course lasted 16 hours, during which the participants learnt theoretical knowledge and practical skills to provide first aid in various emergency situations. These included the recovery position, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, treating wounds and burns, recognising shock and stroke, applying bandages and using a defibrillator.

We are delighted that 15 of our employees have successfully completed the course and are available to us as first aiders in the company. We are proud of these employees who volunteered for the course and showed their commitment to the safety and well-being of their colleagues. We congratulate them on their achievement and thank them for their commitment.

We hope that this course will help to raise awareness of the importance of first aid and increase confidence in their own abilities. We believe that this will not only improve the safety culture in our company, but also the quality of life of our employees and their families. We plan to offer more first aid courses in the future to train even more employees and strengthen our team.

We would also like to thank the Luxembourg Red Cross for the professional and friendly organisation of the course. We appreciate the cooperation with this renowned organisation, which has been committed to humanitarian aid and healthcare in Luxembourg and worldwide for over 100 years. We recommend anyone interested in first aid to find out more about the Red Cross’s programmes and to register.

We are pleased to welcome Ms Laura Percara and Mr Waldemar Müller to the team!
Ms. Percara supports our department in setting up the components, while Mr. Müller strengthens the electrical wiring.

SRG | SERVE Group is constantly striving to reduce its energy consumption and environmental impact. One example of this is the recent replacement of an old piston compressor with a modern speed-controlled screw compressor at our production facility in Grevenmacher/Luxembourg.
The screw compressor supplies our machines with compressed air, which is needed for various manufacturing processes. Compared to a piston compressor, it offers several advantages that lead to higher energy efficiency and reliability.
One of these advantages is speed control, which is made possible by a frequency converter. This adjusts the speed of the motor to the actual air demand, thus reducing energy consumption. A piston compressor, on the other hand, always runs at a fixed speed, which leads to unnecessary energy loss at a lower air demand.
Another advantage is that the screw compressor generates less heat. Since it generates less heat than a piston compressor, it has a higher energy efficiency and a longer service life.
With this investment, the SRG | SERVE Group shows its commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly production. We are proud to offer our customers high-quality products that are manufactured with minimal energy input.

Mr Andreas Scheid (r) welcomes our new employee Mr Christoph Meier.
As a proven expert in the areas of finance, ERP systems, master data management and IT, Mr. Meier will take over responsibility for the SRG | SERVE Group in the aforementioned areas as commercial manager.

Mr M. Reynolds (m) welcomes our new employees Tobias Klaas (l) and Andreas Schleimer (r).
Mr Klaas works as an experienced electronics technician in e-manufacturing and Mr Schleimer as an expert metalworker in our locksmith’s shop.

This year’s team event took place on 08.09.2023.
After a short round of information by the management and the head of production, we met to play football golf together.

Fortified by pastries and chilled drinks, we completed the 18-hole course in glorious sunshine. Thanks also to Team Linz from the Triolago football golf course in Riol.

After the sporting activity, we went to the restaurant of the “Hotel Zur Linde” in Longuich for dinner, where we were excellently catered for. In addition to an entertaining programme, we also took the opportunity to present our employee Thomas Bros with his certificate of instructor qualification for forklift trucks.

Mrs. Breuer supports our order processing with her commercial expertise and Mr. Suskov brings in his experience in the wiring of our switchgears.

SRG | SERVE is proud to make its contribution to environmental protection. We have decided to convert our vehicle fleet to electric cars in order to reduce our environmental footprint. The first charging stations are already in operation and we expect the first electric vehicles to arrive by the end of the month. This is an important step for our company, which has been committed to innovative solutions in power distribution, automation and switchgear for over 40 years.

We were also able to welcome two more employees to the company in July ’23!
